Mississauga fire and emergency medical services performed a harrowing rescue about dawn Friday morning after a van drove into the side of a transport truck. The driver was airlifted to a Toronto hospital with serious injuries. It took about an hour to get him out of the wreck. This occurred at Derry Road West and West Credit Avenue near Mississauga Road.
