Another car into pole at the Mt. Pleasant-Stibbard curve

A woman has been injured in a single crash of her car into a utility pole at Mt. Pleasant Rd. and Stibbard Ave overnight. She is in serious condition. This is the location of the gentle little double curve (or chicane) that has been the scene of more than one accident and has witnessed at least one death. Mt. Pleasant and Stibbard fatal of April 2012

  1. The electrical poles on Mt Pleasant Rd are concrete filled steel poles for good reason.And they have been there for 75 years ,originally to support the trolley bus wires.

  2. This car actually hit the house, similar to the house at Moore and Mt. Pleasant which is undergoing repairs as I write this. These accidents usually occur at night and have DUI charges following them. It would be if the after party traffic slowed down and the cars had a DD.
