There is a busy day planned at McDowell’s valu mart on Davisville in the final drive to beat the 70,000 target set for Sarah’s Food Drive. There is a barbecue this afternoon and at 3 p.m. Sarah and Claire Jordan and other children will be packing up the food for shipment to the Daily Bread Food Bank. You can drop off donations. Canned goods are welcome and pre-bagged groceries are available at McDowell’s for purchase.
