Arson! Seven vehicles set ablaze in Toronto

Car fires all over downtown overnight as an arsonist torched vehicles at four separate locations. Seven were set ablaze in all with the first attack occurring just before 11 p.m. at Frederick and Wilton Streets, One car was damaged there. Another vehicle was set afire in an above-ground parking lot at 55 The Esplanade. Then three vehicles were damaged in a fire at a parking garage at Church Street and The Esplanade. And finally a move uptown to the Yorkville area where two vehicles were damaged in a fire at a garage at 181 Davenport Rd. in the Hazelton Lanes area. This incident occurred at around 2:15 a.m. The arsonist sets fires in the Green P at Church Street and the Esplanade where four vehicles were hit.  A U-Haul truck (pictured) loaded with furniture and parked outside a house went up in flames at the Wilton and Frederick location.
