Candidates battle like election was tomorrow

Candidates for Chief Magistrate of Toronto found their way to the Global Kingdom Ministries Hall  in Scarborough Tuesday night for a debate on who should be elected. None of them laid claim to the Global Kingdom but their antics in pursuit of the big office over Nathan Phillips Square nevertheless made for an entertaining night. The bites on CP24 have shown sharp exchanges between John Tory and Rob Ford over money Ms Stintz and Olivia Chow were strong on the view that Tory, the front runner, has no business running for mayor because he’s never been on city council. That could be said of a number of candidates over the years who jumped right into the office. Chow said  Mr. Ford could not stick to the truth even when he was sober. Ford for his part announced that he was “the King of Helping People” at Toronto Public Housing and “the Subway Mayor”. The election is October 27, 2014. Photo Global News via Twitter
